Warranty
At BWM Products, we stand behind the quality of our machinery. Our products are backed by warranty support, spare parts availability and an experienced Australian-based after-sales team.
If something goes wrong with your BWM product, our team is here to help diagnose the issue and provide an appropriate solution.
Warranty Coverage
BWM Products are covered against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the applicable warranty period.
Warranty periods may vary depending on the product, engine, component and whether the machine is used for domestic or commercial purposes. Please refer to the individual product page, owner’s manual or your purchase documentation for the warranty applicable to your machine.
Where a product is powered by a Honda, Briggs & Stratton, Loncin or other third-party engine, the engine may also be covered separately under the engine manufacturer’s warranty.
Making a Warranty Claim
If you experience an issue with your BWM product, please contact our support team before arranging any repairs or returning the machine.
To help us assess your claim, we may request:
- Proof of purchase
- Product model and serial number
- Photos or a short video showing the issue
- Details of when and how the issue occurred
Our technical team may also guide you through basic troubleshooting to determine the cause of the problem.
Depending on the issue, the appropriate solution may include technical assistance, replacement parts, repair, inspection or replacement of the affected product or component.
What Is Not Covered?
Our manufacturer’s warranty does not cover problems caused by:
- Normal wear and tear
- Consumable or service items that have reached the end of their normal service life
- Misuse, abuse, neglect or accidental damage
- Incorrect assembly, operation or maintenance
- Use of incorrect fuel, oil or lubricants
- Modifications or alterations not approved by BWM Products
- Damage caused by operating the machine outside its intended specifications
- Repairs or modifications by an unauthorised person where those repairs or modifications caused or contributed to the fault
- Damage caused during transport after the product has been collected or delivered to the customer, unless otherwise covered by law
Regular servicing and maintenance remain the responsibility of the owner.
Warranty Assessment
Some warranty claims may require the machine or affected component to be inspected before a warranty remedy can be approved.
Please do not return machinery without contacting BWM Products first. Our team will advise the appropriate next steps and, where required, assist with arranging an assessment.
Spare Parts & After-Sales Support
Our support doesn’t end after your purchase.
BWM Products carries a wide range of spare parts and provides technical and after-sales support for our machinery. Whether you need troubleshooting assistance, replacement parts or servicing advice, our team is here to help keep your equipment operating as it should.
Australian Consumer Law
Our manufacturer’s warranty is provided in addition to the rights and remedies available to consumers under the Australian Consumer Law.
Your consumer rights cannot be excluded or limited by our warranty terms, and in some circumstances your rights under the Australian Consumer Law may continue beyond the stated manufacturer’s warranty period.
